Back to the Future
Zoals bijna iedereen weet is Februari de maand van de Romeinse god Februus, de god van de purificatie, de grote reiniging en boetedoening! Inzicht hoe dat ging en vooral hoe dat in de toekomst zal gaan zullen we wellicht op zaterdag 3 februari om 13:30 uur kunnen gaan zien in het Evoluon in Eindhoven! Daar stappen we aan boord van Spaceship Earth en zien we de indrukwekkende RetroFuture en alle ins en outs van Spacefarming. Ik heb werkelijk geen enkel idee waar we heen gaan en ook niet of we er ongeschonden uit komen…
Na afloop gebruiken we, lijkt me, een Aliën-shotje met een stukje space-cake! Omdat de voedingswaarde hiervan redelijk beperkt is gaan we daarna om 17:15 uur aanschuiven in Indonesisch huiskamer-restaurant Djawa, dat is daar 3 straten verder…
Kijk even of je ook korting krijgt op de entreeprijs. Alles wat afwijkt van werkende Jan-met-de-pet (en zijn Truus) maakt een goede kans op korting, dus ook de meesten van ons… haha!
Na het diner gaan we (voor de laatste keer tot 01:00 uur) los in het wijkgebouw!

Back to the Future
As almost everyone knows, February is the month of the Roman god Februus, the god of purification, the great cleansing and penance! We will probably be able to see how that went and especially how it will go in the future on Saturday, February 3 at 1:30 PM in the Evoluon in Eindhoven! There we board Spaceship Earth and see the impressive RetroFuture and all the ins and outs of Spacefarming. I honestly have no idea where we’re going or if we’ll come out unscathed…
Afterwards we will take, I guess, an Alien shot with a bit of space cake! Because the nutritional value of this is fairly limited, we then go to Indonesian living room restaurant Djawa at 5:15 PM, which is 3 streets away…
Check if you also get a discount on the entrance fee. Anything that differs from Average Joe (and his Jane) has a good chance of getting a discount, so that goes for most of us… haha!
After dinner we will go wild (for the last time until 1AM) in the community building!
