Oktoberfest

Aanstaande zaterdag is het weer tijd voor ons Oktoberfest. Dus haal je dirndl-jurk maar weer uit de mottenballen, pak een paar extra dikke sokken en laat je van je mooiste kant zien! Vanaf 20:00 uur ben je welkom bij Las Salinas in Veldhoven.

We hebben gepraat

Bij Las Salinas gaan onze avonden anders dan we in het wijkgebouw Genderdal gewend waren. Sommigen vinden dat alleen maar fijn, maar anderen zien er toch ook nadelen aan. Het klopt: we kunnen de avond daar niet 100% naar onze eigen hand zetten. Het is nou eenmaal de zaak van Roland en Jerry en wij zijn er te gast.

Maar het gesprek tussen onze bezoekers en Roland heeft wel wat opgeleverd: we hebben een nieuwe invulling afgesproken voor de gala-avond en voor de Nieuwjaarsreceptie. Die worden anders, maar nog steeds superleuk. Ook over de harde muziek zijn afspraken gemaakt: de boxen achterin de zaal zijn voortaan uit, dus het geluidsniveau gaat daar omlaag.

Aan ons Oktoberfest hoeft helemaal niets te veranderen, dus dat is overzichtelijk.

Middagctiviteit

We gaan zaterdag biljartpoolen in Veldhoven bij La Carambole!

We hebben 2 tafels te beschikking vanaf 16.00uur dus we spreken daar af rond 15:30 à 15:45uur, we hebben dan genoeg tijd om de keu ’s te stiften, de pomerans neusjes te poederen en handnagels te doen… Wie-o-wie durft het aan?!

Laat ff weten of je komt voor de planning. Aansluitend om ca 17.15 a 17.30uur gaan we eten bij Oakwood grill restaurant ook in Veldhoven, op speciaal verzoek mogen we iemand ‘roasten’, afhankelijk van de biljartresultaten…

Oktoberfest

This Saturday it’s time for our Oktoberfest again. So get your dirndl dress out of mothballs, grab a pair of extra thick socks and show your best side! From 8:00 PM you are welcome at Las Salinas in Veldhoven.

We have had a talk

At Las Salinas our evenings are different from what we were used to at the Genderdal community center. Some people like that, but others also see disadvantages. It’s true: we can’t make the evening 100% our own. After all, it’s Roland and Jerry’s business and we are guests there.

But the conversation between our visitors and Roland did yield something: we have agreed on a new format for the gala evening and for the New Year’s reception. They will be different, but still super fun. Agreements have also been made about the loud music: the speakers at the back of the room will be off from now on, so the sound level will be lowered there.

Nothing needs to change at all about our Oktoberfest, so that’s clear.

Afternoon activity

We’re going to play billiards in Veldhoven at La Carambole on Saturday!

We have 2 tables available from 4:00 PM so we’ll meet there around 3:30 to 3:45 PM, we’ll have enough time to pencil the cues, powder the pomerans noses and do fingernails… Who dares?!

Let us know if you’re coming for the planning. Afterwards at around 5:15 to 5:30 PM we’ll eat at Oakwood grill restaurant also in Veldhoven, on special request we can ‘roast’ someone, depending on the billiard results…
